Introduction

I came up with the idea for 2 Cents From The Bench one day while Jordan and I were discussing the merits of Scottie Pippen over Facebook. For years and years we had spent most of our friendship discussing (and usually arguing about) different aspects of the world of sports. Our conversation about Pippen was the first time in a long time we had done so. Jordan had gotten married to his amazing wife and moved away to North Carolina, and I was still here in Utah going to school. The distance had diminished our opportunities to debate each other, but with this one discussion I caught the bug again and decided we needed a place to keep it going. So, here it is. More often than not we disagree. Some arguments are fact based, others are purely emotional; but for us, they're always interesting. Hopefully you'll find the same.

It truly is a pleasure to bring public our ridiculous and sometimes embarrassing arguments. While Jason does have a vast knowledge of many sports, it is important to know that as you participate, comment and criticize our points of views, that I am usually right, ok always right. I hope you find our conversations both entertaining and interesting, and invite you to express your own opinion. For your convenience, we have decided to differentiate our posts by colors. I (Jordan) will be posting in this beautiful poop green color. Enjoy!
